ctress Alya Rohali is quite competitive when it comes to marathons. She aims to earn medals from six famed marathon events around the globe.
“I want to have six marathon medals,” she told kompas.com recently.
So far, she has collected medals from three international marathon events. Now, she is preparing to earn her fourth medal from the Seoul Marathon.
Alya is one of four Indonesian celebrities who are to run as Pocari Sweat representatives at the Tokyo Marathon on March 3 and Seoul Marathon on March 17. The other celebrities are Sahila Hisyam, Zee Zee Shahab and Soraya Larasati.
“After Seoul, Insya Allah [God willing] I will take part in the New York Marathon,” Alya revealed.
Once she achieves her target, Alya said she wanted to slow down.
“Six medals will be enough. After all, I am not young anymore. I have to be realistic,” the 43-year-old said.
“I will keep running, but perhaps only a half marathon because running a full marathon is tough.”
