View all search resultsIndonesian Employers Association (Apindo) chairman Hariyadi Sukamdani said on Monday that the organization would file a lawsuit against Anies’ decision to increase the provincial minimum wage by 5.1 percent, rather than the 0.8 percent designated by the central government.
"All this time there has been an effort to make the industry competitive but it was made complicated [by the president director]. As the chairman of the PHRI in the tourism sector, the removal of Garuda's president director makes me very happy," Hariyadi told reporters in Jakarta on Friday.
The law would require the private sector to allocate a certain amount of funds for water conservation, which would be stipulated separately in a derivative government regulation (PP) on Fund for Water Resources Management Services (BPJSDA) to be issued later. It would also require the commercial use of domestic water resources to get approval from stakeholders in the surrounding area, according to Article 51
The Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) plans to file a judicial review at the Constitutional Court against Law No. 5/1999 on monopoly bans and business competition, particularly regarding the authority of the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU).
