The lawyer of former Depok mayor Nur Mahmudi Ismail assured reporters on Thursday that his client was ready to be questioned by police in relation to a graft case against him, despite having requested to postpone the interview by a week earlier that same day.
The police have asked the Depok immigration office in West Java to ban former Depok mayor Nur Mahmudi Ismail and city secretary Harry Prihanto from travelling abroad so as to assist their ongoing investigation into a graft case.
The police have questioned 80 witnesses in a graft case involving former Depok mayor Nur Mahmudi Ismail and former city secretary Harry Prihanto as suspects related to a Jl. Nangka road-widening plan, a 1.5-kilometer stretch of road in the West Java town.
