View all search resultsMost traffic violators in 2014-2018 fell into the 16-30 age group, which received 2.14 million traffic tickets. This was followed by road users aged 31-40 years with 1.96 million tickets.
Of the 642 traffic offenses caught by the cameras along Jl. Thamrin and Jl. Sudirman last week, 400 were related to disuse of safety belts, followed by 198 violations of the odd-even plate number rule and 44 cases of using phones while driving.
Ninety-three violations were recorded on the fourth day of the trial of the electronic-based ticketing system, dubbed Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE), on Thursday, director of the traffic division of the Jakarta Police Sr. Comr. Yusuf said.
