Atambua prepares 10 cross-border tourism events for 2017

After the successful run of the Atambua Adventure Off-Road 2017 on April 22-23, Belu regency is planning to hold 10 additional cross-border events throughout the year

fter the successful run of the Atambua Adventure Off-Road 2017 on April 22-23, Belu regency is planning to hold 10 additional cross-border events throughout the year.

The events aimed to attract more foreign tourists, especially from neighboring country Timor Leste, said Belu Regent Willybrodus Lay

Activities that have already been confirmed are: Cultural Parade in May, the Atambua Half Marathon in June, Motor Cross in August, a Fishing Tournament in September and the Atambua Great Sale in December.

Willybrodus said the remaining five events were currently being discussed. (kes)
