nde regency in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is currently holding the Pesona Kebangsaan (Charms of the Nation) Parade 2017, which kicked off on National Awakening Day on May 20 and will end on June 1, a date the nation celebrates as Pancasila Day.

“There will be a night meditation session held at Taman Soekarno on May 31,” said the Tourism Ministry's archipelago tourism marketing development deputy, Esthy Reko Astuti.

The event will also host a movie screening and art performances, such as Wayang (shadow puppets) Tonil Soekarno and a collaborative performance between Wayang Ajen and Flores traditional music.

The parade itself features interesting activities such as a Napaktilas Alam Soekarno expedition, Ende Cultural Expo, Pesona Ende (Ende Charms) photography competition, sailboat race, the launch of a Pancasila Library, Ende Wonderland Destination and many more.

Meanwhile, the main event will be the Pancasila Ceremony that will be held on the last day of the event on June 1. (kes)
