n 1995, the economic size of the G7 countries was twice the size of seven emerging countries: China, India, Indonesia, Russia, Brazil, Turkey and Mexico.

Today, the two groups are almost equal. A study by PwC suggests that 25 years from now, the economic size of these seven emerging countries could be twice that of the G7 countries.

By 2050 the seven emerging countries would make up almost half of the world economy, and Indonesia would be the fourthlargest economy in the world, behind the United States, India and China.

Indonesia is now strategically placed to achieve substantial economic growth. In the next decade, production and distribution processes in our economy will reach a massive scale, and it is crucial to establish the infrastructure networks that will sustain this significant growth.
