eer-to-Peer (P2P) lending platform AsetKu has disbursed more than Rp 14 trillion from January to July of this year, accounting for 16.1 percent of the national P2P lending disbursed over the same period.
According to data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Indonesian fintech companies disbursed Rp 86.5 trillion from January 2021 to July 2021.
AsetKu management representative Jimmi Adhe Kharisma said that AsetKu’s number would rise as it had set a target of Rp 18 trillion to be disbursed by the end of 2021, noting that the company was optimistic after reflecting on last year’s figure.
AsetKu is also seeking to expand its user base, targeting six million new users in 2021, which Jimmi said would be done in collaboration with third parties.
“This year, we focused on developing the business development team to catch up on our agenda items from 2020 that were delayed. We hope that AsetKu can become a one-stop-solution app for all our users’ financial needs,” he said.
Aside from its goals, AsetKu is currently working on building its budding community relations. Revolving around financial knowledge, the community plans to host regular discussions with AsetKu users in the future.
“AsetKu not only aims to increase our disbursements but we also want our users to gain more knowledge after using the app, so that they can find the answers or solutions they seek in the community,” Jimmi concluded, adding that AsetKu was also increasing its reach through community channels.
Currently, AsetKu runs an official group on Telegram, Group Asetku Berkembang, to facilitate communication with its users, as well as to avoid fraudulent activities using the AsetKu name. The group is open to all people who have an interest in finance, and can be joined by visiting https://t.me/GroupAsetkuBerkembang.
