ontinuing its support for the government’s CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environment) program, leading fast moving consumer goods company Enesis Group, through its hero brand Antis Hand Sanitizer, is collaborating with online travel agent tiket.com for its Long Stay & VACcation Rewards program.

The program was formally kicked off at the InterContinental Bali Resort in Jimbaran, which was attended by Bali Tourism Agency head I Putu Astawa.

Enesis Group chief sales & marketing officer Ryan Tirta Yudhistira said that after two months of social restrictions (PPKM), Java and Bali had reached levels 2 to 4, allowing some forms of travel. In turn, he continued, this created the phenomenon of travel revenge, where the public will immediately start traveling after being cooped up in their homes.

“There is a very large pent-up demand for traveling after staying home for so long. This is good for the economy and tourism industry, but we must also take care not to increase the spread of COVID-19,” he said.

Antis’ collaboration with tiket.com will entail a long stay program courtesy of the travel agency, after which guests will receive a long stay kit from Antis, which includes masks, ANtis hand sanitizer and Amunizer herbal vitamin.

To take part in the program, holidaymakers can simply book a hotel stay through the tiket.com app for a stay period between Aug. 2 and Oct. 31, 2021. With a minimum transaction of Rp 500,000, they will be automatically eligible for a discount of up to Rp 375,000 using the “TIKETLONGSTAY” promo code. Participating hotels are located in Banten, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, East Java and Bali.

According to Ryan, the non-perfumed medical grade Antis hand sanitizer is produced according to WHO standards, and is able to eliminate 99 percent of bacteria and viruses in four seconds.

“Currently, we also have the Antis Jasmine Tea variant, which contains food-grade ingredients that can be used to sanitize cutlery when deciding to have breakfast, for example. This way, Antis can become part of the daily health protocols during the pandemic,” he explained.

The collaboration between Antis and tiket.com started in the early days of the pandemic through various programs, including the TIKETCLEANxANTIS campaign that provides healthy kits for guests staying at TIKETANTIS properties, which are properties that have applied strict health protocols as well as having Antis hand sanitizer stocked.

Cisyelya Bunyamin, tiket.com VP of accommodation, said longstay programs had become a necessity following the reopening of domestic and international travel.

“We have reached 600 property partners to participate in this program with Antis. We hope the program can contribute to the government’s efforts in applying strict health and hygiene protocols at tourist destinations, as well as becoming a dependable travel solution for Indonesians,” she said, adding that the program was in line with tiket.com’s commitment to support the recovery of the national tourism industry.

Along with the longstay package, tiket.com has also supported the national vaccination program by opening vaccination centers in Jakarta and Yogyakarta, as well as reminding the public to plan their vacations carefully and sticking to strict health protocols wherever they may be.

Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry strategic communication and partnership coordinator Dedi Kurnia said the recovery of the tourism and creative economy industries was based on CHSE protocols, while the ministry supported the vaccination of every worker in the industries, ranging from hotel and restaurant workers to tour guides.

“The government cannot work alone; by collaborating with stakeholders, the impact will be much greater. The collaboration between Antis and tiket.com can strengthen what we have done together to revive the Balinese tourism industry specifically,” he said, adding that the ministry welcomed future collaborations from other stakeholders to support Indonesian tourism.
