LG gifts Indonesian athletes with LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier to honor achievements

o honor the achievements of Indonesian athletes at international sporting events, electronics company PT LG Electronics Indonesia (LG) has gifted 28 athletes with the LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier.
Athletes Eko Yuli Irawan (weightlifting) and Azzahra Permatahani (swimming) received the products symbolically in an event held by the Indonesian National Olympic Committee (NOC), which was attended by NOC chairman Raja Sapta Oktohari.
“As a company that has been a part of the Indonesian people for decades, LG is honored to have the chance to provide Indonesia’s finest athletes with a token of appreciation,” said LG Electronics Indonesia director of marketing Jay Jang, adding that he hoped the LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier could support the athletes’ activities.
The second generation LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier was launched in mid-August, following numerous improvements in terms of breathing and speaking comfort during daily activities while also retaining the HEPA filter air purification system from the previous generation.
At 94 grams, LG’s wearable air purifier is made from medical grade silicone, reducing the possibility of allergic reactions while simultaneously providing comfort and safety. Though lightweight, the device is equipped with a rechargeable 1,000 mAh battery, allowing up to eight hours of continuous use.
LG also automated the airflow system with a Dual Fans setup and a patented breath sensor. The fans help push airflow when the wearer inhales, while the breath sensor detects the wearer’s breathing pattern and adjusts the fans’ movements accordingly.
Completing the range of innovations in LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier’s second generation is the VoiceON™ feature, which is an integrated speaker and microphone. With the push of a button, the system automatically detects the wearer’s speech and amplifies it through the speaker.
“Through various developments in LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier’s second generation, we wish to support our athletes’ daily activities in training as well as boosting their spirit to accomplish more in the coming days,” Jay concluded.
