n collaboration with the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry, leading hand sanitizer brand Antis held a vaccination drive in Waisai, Raja Ampat.

With the support of the Raja Ampat Health Agency and Tourism Agency, the vaccination center ran from Oct. 26 to 27 at the Waisai Harbor docks, targeting approximately 1,000 tourism and creative economy workers, as well as the general public.

During the same event, Antis also donated 500,000 sachets of hand sanitizer as a form of support for Raja Ampat’s health protocols. The symbolic handing over ceremony was attended by Enesis Group Head of Public Relations Elkana Lewerisa, Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno and Raja Ampat Regent Abdul Faris Umlati.

“I am very pleased to support this initiative as Antis has shown its commitment to the recovery of the tourism and creative economy industry. I would like to offer my gratitude, and hope that we can reach more locations,” Sandiaga said.

Meanwhile, Elkana noted that Antis had collaborated with the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry and the Raja Ampat administration to further increase the reach of the national vaccination program, especially in tourism destinations such as Raja Ampat.

“Raja Ampat is one of the best destinations in East Indonesia. Therefore, we must support the application of health protocols and vaccination as one form of CHSE [Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environment] protocols, so as to instill widespread health for locals and a sense of safety for travelers wishing to visit Raja Ampat, especially as the area is now open for tourism once again,” she said.
