Without revealing too much about the extent of LG’s partnership with the Indonesia Badminton Festival 2021, President of LG Electronics Indonesia Lee Taejin has confirmed that LG will be responsible for providing digital signage equipment and LG’s UHD 4K televisions.

“We appreciate LG’s support as a representative of the collaboration between corporations and the Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI) in the Indonesia Badminton Festival 2021,” said PP PBSI General Chairman Agung Firman Sampurna. “We hope this cooperation will continue and develop as a joint venture to promote Indonesian badminton on the international stage.”

LG’s assistance is a show of support for the recovery and advancement of Indonesian sports after a hiatus due to the pandemic.

“LG is very honored to lend its support to the development of sports in Indonesia as part of the Indonesian community for more than 30 years,” Lee continued. “Especially for a sport that has long been a source of pride for Indonesia, as proven by its athletes’ supremacy in international events.”
