Padma Hotel Semarang promotes healthy living to mark first anniversary

ith great excitement, the Padma Run 2023 makes its debut in Semarang to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Padma Hotel Semarang, a five-star destination that blends contemporary luxury and traditional Javanese heritage.
Padma Run Semarang 2023, which will bear the theme #MilesforCharity, is expected to raise awareness for better education and social welfare, by raising funds through the event.
Scheduled for Sept. 24, participants will begin the 5K Fun Run promptly at 6 a.m., along the route that starts from the hotel, through Jl. Sultan Agung, Jl. Diponegoro, Jl. Pahlawan, Taman Indonesia Kaya and finally circling back to Padma Hotel Semarang.
"For Padma Run Semarang 2023, we have prepared a track that is approximately 5 kilometers long with a road that goes up and down and curves," said Asrori, project director of Padma Run Semarang 2023. He admitted that the route is not for the faint of heart, as he considers it a challenge for professional and amateur runners alike.
While all are welcome to join, participants will need to pay a fee of Rp 200,000 for a race pack, consisting of drawstring bag, Padma Run shirt, refreshment, bib number and a finisher medal for those who manage to accomplish the route. The hotel wishes to unite the local Semarang running community with this activity.
For the lucky few who are able to get ahead in the race, Padma Hotel Semarang is prepared to offer a cash prize for the first three of each category; male and female. Raising the bar even higher, a grand prize of Rp 30 million is on offer.
