EastFood (IIFEX) & EastPack Surabaya 2025 exhibition

T

he food and beverage industry continues to grow, driven by shifts in lifestyle and consumer preferences. In 2025, the industry is expected to evolve with emerging trends that integrate technological innovation, health awareness and sustainability.

According to Statistics Indonesia (BPS) on May 5, 2025, East Java recorded 5 percent year-on-year economic growth, outperforming the national average of 4.87 percent and other major provinces. This makes East Java a key driver of Indonesia’s economy.

To support this positive momentum, Krista Exhibitions will once again host EastFood (Indonesia International Food Exhibition/IIFEX) Surabaya 2025, from June 12–15 at Grand City Convention Hall, Surabaya. Held alongside EastPack Surabaya 2025, the event will showcase the full value chain of the food, pharmaceutical, and packaging industries.

Over 180 companies, including 30 MSMEs, will participate, and the event is expected to attract over 20,000 visitors. Exhibitors will come from more than seven countries, including China, France, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

CEO Daud D. Salim expressed optimism that this year’s event will draw more professionals, the public and international buyers. “Krista Exhibitions remains committed to supporting industry growth and providing a platform to strengthen global competitiveness,” he said.

The event features the Chef’s Secret Culinary Studio Workshop, with sessions like “How to Win at Pastry Competitions,” “Gelato Sushi” and “Better Understanding Australian Beef.” Cooking demos by top chefs will present recipes such as beef cheese brioche, tiramisu velvet, pempek ikan, and pandan brownies.

Beyond showcasing products, the exhibition also offers business matching sessions, connecting businesses with potential partners and investors.

Open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., entry is free with online registration by June 11, or available on-site for Rp 100,000.
