ali's economy continues to thrive in 2025, with the accommodation and food and beverage (F&B) sectors playing a pivotal role in its development.

According to the Bali bureau of Statistics Indonesia (BPS), the provincial economy grew by a robust 5.52 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2025, an increase from 5.19 percent in the previous quarter and notably higher than the national growth rate of 4.87 percent. These figures reaffirm the strategic importance of tourism and culinary excellence to Bali’s economy.

Building on this positive momentum, the island province will once again host the Bali Interfood 2025 international exhibition, now in its sixth edition. Set to take place from Sept. 10 to 12 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), the event will spotlight the latest innovations in F&B, baking ingredients, HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, Café) equipment and food processing technology.

Bali Interfood is more than just a trade exhibition: It is a cultural and business platform to showcase Indonesia’s rich culinary heritage, especially Bali’s distinctive cuisine, to both domestic and international visitors. The event aims to be a culinary stage where new business opportunities can emerge, tourism can flourish and food innovation can develop.

Krista Exhibitions CEO Daud D. Salim said this year’s event would feature 110 exhibitors, including 40 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from 17 countries, including Belgium, China, Germany, Italy, Vietnam and the United States, and draw over 15,000 visitors.

Bali Interfood 2025 aims to foster business deals, showcase new products and present cutting-edge innovation in the F&B industry as it opens its doors alongside its sister exhibitions Bali Hotel & Tourism Expo, Bali Coffee Expo, Bali Wine & Spirit and Bakery Indonesia Expo. It will also feature advanced technologies in food processing, packaging and sustainable practices.

A key highlight is its business matching program, a strategic networking session connecting exhibitors with buyers, distributors and investors to expand partnerships and industry networks. Bali Interfood 2025 also hosts engaging programs like the “Catcher Gourmet - Flavor Forum” cooking demo, the “Dialogue in a Cup of Tea” session by Pabrik Powder and a sustainability talk hosted by the Cocoa Sustainability Partnership (CSP).

Bali Interfood 2025 is supported by the Tourism Ministry, the Trade Ministry, Bali provincial administration and numerous industry associations including the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI), the Indonesian Food and Beverage Association (GAPMMI), the Indonesian Packaging Federation (IPF), the Association of Indonesian Retailers (APRINDO), the Indonesian Cold Chain Association (ARPI) and CSP.

Open to business owners, buyers, importers and HORECA professionals, Bali Interfood is a strategic hub for franchises, investors and suppliers seeking to scale their presence in Indonesia's thriving F&B sector.

Visitors can register online until Sept. 9 via the official website at register.kristaonline.com/visitor/baliinterfood or on-site during the exhibition, with a one-time entry fee of Rp 100,000 that covers all three days.
