View all search resultsoFood, the food delivery service arm of Gojek, brings affordable solutions to the table through GoFood PAS. This time, consumers are able to enjoy delightful culinary experiences yet affordable with only Rp22,000, delivery and handling fees included. In particular for greater Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya, the GoFood PAS price is set at only Rp 25,000
Gede Manggala, Vice President of Regions Gojek, pointed out how GoFood PAS derived from Gojek’s deep understanding on its consumers behavior. “GoFood PAS was designed based on the trend of GoFood users who mainly prefer full meals in our ‘budget meal’ category. Such meals include chicken with rice dishes or fried rice. The average order value in the ‘budget meal’ category is set at Rp22-25k depending on the cities,” said Gede.
This most recent innovation marks GoFood as the first in Indonesia’s online food delivery landscape who feature an all-in (delivery and handling fee included) menu curation with fixed and affordable price.
The feature is using a menu-based approach, offering greater practicality for its users since they no longer have to go through the hassle of checking out the budget menu in every single restaurant.
Beside delivering affordable solutions for its users, GoFood PAS is also a manifestation of GoTo Group’s #BerjuangUntukIndonesia (Fight for Indonesia) spirit to empower MSME merchants to grow their businesses. “Through GoTo’s ecosystem technology adoption, we want to increase the visibility of our GoFood merchants. With GoFood, our consumers can discover all these delicacies without having to know their exact online presences, and are boosted even further with minimum marketing budget by utilising our ads and promo scheme,” Gede continued.
One of GoFood merchants in Yogyakarta, named Nasi Telur Bahagia, shared how the technology that GoFood offers helped their business, even during the pandemic, with a 50% sales increment. The restaurant owner Ahmad Maftuh Ihsan stated, “Since GoFood PAS came into the picture the past month, our budget menu orders almost doubled because it is relevant to the current consumers’ needs who are after affordable meals.”
GoFood PAS are now available in 13 cities in Indonesia, including greater Jakarta (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi), Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, Bali, Jogja, Malang, Palembang, Semarang, Solo, Bandar Lampung, Pekanbaru, and Makassar.
