View all search resultsn parallel with the rapid growth of Indonesia’s digital economy, the digital advertising sector has become a key driver in supporting business growth across the country.
Amid increasingly fierce industry competition, businesses of all scales are facing the challenge of reaching the right audience while maintaining efficient advertising.
Keying in on this issue, PT Telkom Indonesia (Telkom), through its subsidiary PT Metra Digital Media (MDMedia), has introduced AdXelerate as a solution. A programmatic advertising platform, AdXelerate is based on data from the country’s largest telco and is capable of providing more efficient, relevant and targeted digital advertising.
A collaborative product made by TelkomGroup via MDMedia alongside Telkomsel and strategic data provider partners, which also involved marketing technology, this service will bring digital advertising innovations to the Indonesian market.
The platform makes it possible for advertisers to showcase their products on various national news portals to reach more than 150 million Telkomsel consumers, all from within AdXelerate.
The service functions by leveraging big data analytics that are designed and developed to streamline the process of displaying ads. It differs from other programmatic advertising through platforms that rely on limited data, as AdXelerate utilizes first-party data that can target audiences accurately and holistically.
This results in production promotions that not only reach real and specific audiences, but also fit the user’s business needs.
“AdXelerate not only provides a new solution to digital advertising, but is also a strategic step for companies in creating the foundation for Indonesia’s digital economy on the global stage,” said Seno Soemadji, Telkom’s Director of Strategic Business Development and Portfolio.
He added that effective use of this platform, with the support of strategic partners, could result in new growth opportunities for all business players in the country.
Veranita Yosephine, Telkom’s director of enterprise and business service, explained that Telkom Solution’s ecosystem of digital solutions always put user needs at the forefront, regardless of the market.
“We predict that fast-moving consumer goods can be impacted greatly with targeted programmatic advertising, but really, any business that interacts directly with customers can benefit from AdXelerate. Be it MSMEs [micro, small and medium enterprises] or retail, the platform helps in efficiency,” she said.
Meanwhile, MDMedia’s President Director Arif Prabowo emphasized that the AdXelerate platform was built with careful consideration of local laws on data privacy.
”We closely watched the balance between effectiveness and our customers' right to privacy,” he said.
From data processing and access control to security, confidentiality and supervision, compliance with data protection and privacy rules was ensured at all points of development. Moreover, this close attention to digital security is also reinforced consistently and measured on an ongoing basis. Making both AdXelerate’s development and maintenance intrinsically designed with privacy principles in mind.
What also sets it apart from its contemporaries is that AdXelerate creates actionable insights for businesses by reporting comprehensive audience profiles that details various interest categories and demographic attributes.
Furthermore, the platform offers advertisement optimization in real-time, creating adjustments within seconds based on performance. This provides high flexibility for advertisers to dynamically revise their strategies.
Aside from adjustments, AdXelerate can also run a re-targeting to sharpen segmentation of a brand’s target audience through a data-driven, automated process that harnesses machine learning. This ultimately allows for increased conversion, depending on the goals of the business.
Since its 2024 debut, AdXelerate has helped a multitude of companies in marketing their products and services to a more fitting audience.
And with the support of local publishers, the platform is contributing actively to the improvement of Indonesia’s media institutions while ensuring that digital advertisement purchases are translating into a positive impact on the national economy.
”We want to emphasize that with AdXelerate we aim to be a digital enabler for Indonesia, especially within the communication and advertising industry.”
President director of Telkom, Dian Siswarini, states. Adding that Telkom has the vision to orchestrate a digital ecosystem that provides the optimal experience, fully commuting to a smooth digital transformation which creates a tangible impact for the people.
With the existence of AdXelerate, TelkomGroup is cementing its role as a driving force in Indonesia’s digital ecosystem. The platform is not merely an efficient and relevant advertising solution: It also serves as the realization of TelkomGroup’s commitment to pushing data-based innovation and improving the competitiveness of Indonesia’s digital economy.
