elebrity couple Asmirandah (right) and Jonas Rivanno, are undergoing the frozen embryo transfer (FET) program at Morula IVF Jakarta to expand their family. The process is being aided by Merry Amelia, an obstetrician at the clinic, who previously helped the couple conceive their first child via in-vitro fertilization (IVF), a girl named Chloe Emmanuelle van Wattimena.
FET is the process of implanting embryos that were previously frozen and stored. However. the procedure is not an option for everyone. For instance, when a couple has experienced IVF failure, additional examinations will be carried out before implanting frozen embryos.
“Before the frozen embryo implantation process, of course, the doctor will also conduct an assessment of the patient's condition to see if the uterus and the patient’s hormone levels are ready," Merry said.
“The success of an FET pregnancy is no different from the fresh embryo transfer cycle.”
At Morula IVF Indonesia, one of the tests that supports the FET procedure is preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGTA) through next generation sequencing (NGS) technology. This examination has been shown to have a positive impact on the success of IVF, especially cases with recurrent implantation failure or repeated miscarriages and preventing chromosomal abnormalities.
Currently, Morula IVF clinics in Indonesia are conducting consultations and providing FET procedure promotions with discounts of up to 50 percent on packages. Go to morulaivf.co.id or call 150-IVF (483) for more information on FET packages.
