orula Indonesia marked 24 years of its success in the fertility sector as well as its collaboration with Bunda Hospital Group and Diagnos Laboratorium at a hybrid event called Women’s Fair on June 8, which celebrated Indonesian women.
“The occasion of Morula Indonesia’s 24th anniversary, a more mature age as we continue to strive to provide the best service as the preferred fertility clinic for people across the country who are trying to conceive,” said Morula Indonesia CEO Ivan Rizal Sini, SpOG, MD, FRANZCOG, GDRM, SpOG.
“Morula is here to help and provide services. At the same time, Morula Indonesia will be more aggressive in developing our services for all patients, either through new technologies and services or by adding new branches across Indonesia [for better reach],” said Ivan.
“We are also aware that in providing our services, the challenges remain large, so we must be agile in our golden age. To be truly agile, this mindset and behavior needs to be applied across all lines in the company, although we also understand that it takes time to develop the right habits and team culture in the company until the benefits are felt,” he added.
To mark the company’s 24th anniversary, Morula Indonesia has also launched Ruang Fertilitas Online, a free online fertility consultation with its experts. It hopes that these free sessions will offer easy access for prospective patients to discuss and learn about AMH fertility tests, PGTA and PGT-M preimplantation tests, PGS preimplantation screening, in vitro fertilization (IVF) and other insemination services, as well as noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT), enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) delivery methods, robotic surgery and many more services Morula offers.
Ruang Fertilitas Online will be held for 10 days in June (8, 9, 15, 16, 19, 22, 23, 26, 29 and 30) and is targeting a minimum of 2,000 prospective patients across the country. It also aims to reach a record number of fertility consultations for couples to be entered in the Indonesian Museum of Records.
Moreover, the IVF industry has gained traction in Indonesia, growing more than 16 percent per year. The number of weddings in Indonesia before the pandemic was also large, with an estimated 2 million couples getting married each year. Among these, 11 to 12 percent are experiencing infertility issues, so around 250,000 newlyweds are seeking infertility treatments each year.
To date, Morula IVF has served 125,000 patients (49 percent of the domestic market) and provided more than 28,000 cycles of its IVF services. It has achieved the highest success rate at 72 percent and is continually updating its IVF technology to meet the fertility needs of prospective moms and dads.
