In response to this growing trend, Rumari at Raffles Bali has launched the first chapter of The Epicurean Journey where marvels of gastronomy gather in the most prestigious resort in Bali.
Epicureans can embark on one of the most curated gastronomic experiences on the island as Rumari at Raffles Bali invites well-travelled fine-dining enthusiasts to savor the finest in dining.
Rumari at Raffles Bali is located in Jimbaran Bay within the Jimbaran Hijau development area and is perched on a hill offering views of the ocean and its own secluded beach. It highlights the richness of the archipelago seamlessly synergized with the expertise of the most talented culinary team and guest stars in the industry.
Epicurean Journey – Chapter 1 will be held on April 22 and 23, featuring the first ever collaboration with chef Maxime Gilbert from the famed two-Michelin starred ÉCRITURE Hong Kong. His vision of French cuisine comes to life at ÉCRITURE, where traditional techniques are integrated with exceptional ingredients from France and Japan, to evince simplicity, elegance and a natural sophistication that plays with power and lightness.
“This Epicurean Journey Chapter 1 is the very beginning of a wondrous journey of discovery,” Raffles Bali said in a statement.
Collaborating with some of the brightest stars in the gastronomy horizon, the quarterly journey will present duets with Michelin-starred chefs, 50 best chefs, world-renowned mixologists and master sommelier, among many more.
Chef Maxime’s prowess will be beautifully fused with Rumari’s chef Gaetan’s passion for exploration and discovery as he leads Rumari to be one of the finest Indonesian restaurants on the island, which was recently appointed as the newest Krug Ambassade, the first ever in Indonesia and one among the selected few exclusive venues in the world
The Epicurean Journey will be the ultimate offering of prestigious and uniquely curated dining events, inviting those select few dining enthusiasts to the intimate setting of Rumari at Raffles Bali.
Epicurean Journey Chapter I is available at Rp 3.2 million ++ per person.
