F

ollowing the success of last year’s event, W Bali – Seminyak is set to bring back GO LOCAL 2.0, an extraordinary evening with all things local, at Woobar on May 7.

The evening will offer local Balinese food and beverages, as well as a performance featuring Dipha Barus, a well-known Indonesian DJ, composer and producer.

“The hotel will steal the scene once again by bringing back last year’s success for more guests to experience the authenticity of the Island of Gods,” the hotel said in a statement.

It added that a percentage of the proceeds would support Sungai Watch, a community river clean-up organization with a mission to protect Bali’s waterways.

“On this day, guests will embark on an extraordinary journey with our favorite tipples and signature cocktails while trying out the delicious food stations around the WET deck,” the statement said.

A myriad of dishes such as Balinese pork samsam rice bowl, chicken betutu pizza and lumpia Sanur, to mention a few, will be included.

The party will start at 4 p.m. with mixes from W Bali’s resident DJs, building up to another epic Bali sunset to the beats of Dipha Barus, playing his House music-infused pop tracks that surely will heat up the dance floor.

“Kick the night off with Woobar’s signature cocktails accompanied by tunes from Nanda and Wilson,” the hotel said.

W Bali – Seminyak is located in the pulse of the trendy enclave of Bali. The entry of W Bali sets the tone of exuberance in Seminyak where designer boutiques, eclectic galleries, concept restaurants, chic cocktail bars and clubs predominate.
