n conjunction with Earth Day, Marriott Worldwide Business Council in Indonesia has partnered with non-profit organization Conscious Planet Indonesia to present Homage to Indonesian Soil, an environmental awareness event featuring a number of influential environmentalists and entrepreneurs from various professional backgrounds across Indonesia.
On Saturday, Marriott Worldwide Business Council in Indonesia held two events in Jakarta and Bali. The event in Bali took place at Sthala, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Ubud, Bali, while the Jakarta event was held at JW Marriott Hotel. Both events were free to join, with the option of attending on-site or by logging in as a virtual guest.
Moderated by Gilda Sagrado, the Bali event invited actress and Save Soil ambassador Raline Shah,
CNN Hero Made Janur Yasa from Plastic Exchange and architect Popo Danes as panelists, while speakers at JW Marriott Jakarta included technopreneur Ruth Wijaya, scientist Nico Wanandy, entrepreneur and Save Soil ambassador Aura Kasih and president commissioner of Blue Bird Group Noni Purnomo.
Save Soil is a global movement to raise awareness of saving the soil from extinction, so as to save the world from running out of arable land and maintaining food production. Save Soil is Sadhguru's initiative to bring urgent attention to this disastrous problem facing humanity and calls for policy change for corrective action.
Conferred with three presidential awards including the Padma Vibhushan for distinguished service to the Nation and India’s highest environmental award, the Indira Gandhi Paryavaran Puraskar, Sadhguru’s main goal is to advocate for raising human consciousness.
