World Chocolate Day celebrated at Mövenpick Bali

M

övenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali celebrated World Chocolate Day recently by collaborating with Ubud Raw Chocolate, one of Bali’s finest raw and organic chocolate producers.

World Chocolate Day was celebrated on July 7, referring to the date when the very first chocolate was introduced to Europe on July 7, 1550.

“We do hope this special occasion could boost more awareness of the vast locally grown chocolate resources in Bali, as well as supporting local farmers’ communities, providing more insight into and knowledge about the many benefits of chocolate,” said Mövenpick Bali in a statement.

Ubud Raw Chocolate is made from two superfood plants, namely cacao and coconut.

Made with organic cacao beans grown in Bali, all UBUD RAW products are vegan, gluten free, GMO free, with no refined sugar, no preservatives and no chemicals or additives.

“Chocolate is healthy, especially dark chocolate which has a greater health benefit.  It helps our focus, sharpens the memory and protects our brain from ageing; it’s also mouth-meltingly tasty,” the hotel said.

The hotel explained that “chocolate hour” was its unique Mövenpick brand signature, available at all Mövenpick hotels all over the world staged every afternoon and resort globally as part of its “we make moments” brand vision. “‘Chocolate hour’ is loved world-wide by family members, especially children,” it said.

“At Mövenpick Bali, we have our regular ‘chocolate hour’ at our Katha Lobby & Library Lounge, served in a chocolate fountain with various selections of sweets condiments, a perfect treat for you and your kids,” the hotel stated.
