Hyatt Resorts Bali introduces new cluster director of commercial services

H

yatt Resorts Bali has welcomed a new cluster director of commercial services, David MacLean. Hailing from the United States, the Boston native will be overseeing the sales and marketing teams of three Hyatt properties in Bali: Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency and Andaz Bali.

David has an extensive background in leisure and resort marketing, having worked as the director of sales and marketing at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. He also served as cochair of the Resort Alliance, which covers 20 Hyatt resorts in North America.

“I am excited to share my expertise but also learn from my team here in Bali,” said David, whose career spans over 10 years at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa Andaz 5th Avenue in New York, the US.

“I look forward to learning more about Balinese culture and the people while exploring opportunities for our three resorts. It was an incredible experience to walk the beautiful grounds of Grand Hyatt, visit the iconic Hyatt Regency and to enjoy the modern village ambiance at Andaz Bali. It’s truly a special time as we continue to make our way back to prosperity.”
