P

eer to peer (P2P) lending company, Restock.id is intensifying inventory financing for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in 2022. A number of collaborations were carried out with lenders and banks, including the signing of a collaboration with Bank Sahabat Sampoerna at the Restock.id office, Sequis Tower, Jakarta, on July 20.

This collaboration resulted in an agreement to disburse Rp 50 billion to Restock.id to be channeled to MSMEs.

“Restock.id's spirit is to develop MSMEs to an international level, especially in the creative industry and fashion e-commerce segments, and this is further strengthened by the synergy with Bank Sahabat Sampoerna. Bank Sahabat Sampoerna is one of the most active banks in the market that collaborates with several fintechs," explained Tiar Karbala, CEO of Restock.id.

"We recognize that the synergy between banks and fintech lending has a positive impact on lending to Indonesian MSMEs," said Mike Bani Riza, division head of FI Bank Sahabat Sampoerna.

The collaboration between Restock.id and Bank Sahabat Sampoerna, in addition to aiming for the advancement of financing for MSMEs by distributing credit facility financing, aims to support the development of the MSME financing ecosystem with a supply chain financing system. “Restock.id is ready to finance an established ecosystem.

Restock.id provides end-to-end support, from upstream to downstream, from production to distribution, both online and offline throughout Indonesia," Tiar continued.

Since its establishment in 2019, Restock.id's P2P lending platform has been providing funding solutions for MSMEs, starting from financing the production of goods using inventory financing (using product assets or business inventory as collateral to get financing from funders), to assisting warehousing. Restock.id is Indonesia’s first P2P lender to facilitate MSME financing by using assets and inventory as collateral.

In addition to fashion retail and local brands, companies in the healthcare sector, as well as several fast moving consumer goods and commodity firms are also collaborating with Restock.id.

In the first quarter of 2022, Restock.id channeled Rp 1 trillion to MSMEs with a payment success rate (TKB90) of 100%.
