Through the digital survey, Telkomsel seeks to carry out its commitment as a digital ecosystem enabler that opens up more development opportunities for both industry players and the public, especially in strengthening the culture of data-based decision-making.

Telkomsel vice president of data solutions Alfian Manullang noted that as a digital ecosystem enabler, Telkomsel continues to strive to open up development opportunities for industry and the community.

Smartphone user-based market research, as made possible with tSurvey.id, utilizes a respondent-targeting method that is accurate, not random or based on claims like other survey methods.

"Telkomsel's tSurvey.id produces quality insights that e-commerce players can consider in making business decisions with local MSMEs in the future, such as the importance of helpful application features, the freedom to sell various products in large quantities, as well as discounts and intensive promotions," Alfian said.

Based on a deeper survey of Tokopedia, which received the most positive perception from respondents of online MSME entrepreneurs in Indonesia, several aspects of the platform perceived to be superior to its competitors include ease of use (70 percent), complete sales features (68 percent), good resolution center service (66 percent), satisfactory logistics facilities (70 percent), comfortable user interface (70 percent) and a wide range of payment systems (73 percent).

"These findings reflect the importance of a satisfying experience and service for respondents so that they can be considered for e-commerce platforms in making business decisions in the future, especially in the midst of intense competition among platforms. Going forward, Telkomsel will continue to accelerate development of leading innovation and technology aspects, as well as opening up more opportunities for progress in industry and society, especially in strengthening the culture of data-based decision-making through tSurvey.id,"  Alfian concluded.
