is bringing FIRE back to its primal roots concept. Helmed by chef Norberto Palacios, the restaurant features a dramatic open kitchen that awakens guests’ senses to experience the culinary journey. Showcasing of Bali’s mysticism through its not to the traditional Kecak dance, guests will not want to skip the trendy spot for delicious meals and a unique experience.
“The revamp of FIRE’s new look and feel is not only a refreshment of the aesthetics, but also a transformation in the approaches of our team who are more conscious on the ingredients used in the kitchen. We desire to deliver an elevated dining experience with the finest cuisine for our guests to experience the thrill of the grill”, said Norberto Palacios, director of culinary at W Bali in Seminyak.
The space is illuminated by the bold colors of white, black, red and yellow, the primary colors of fire. Checkered patterns can be seen in the marble decorating the open kitchen. The centerpiece is the kecak fireball-inspired chandelier, which radiates from the ceiling made of burnt timber strips. Draperies are hemmed in the Balinese traditional double ikat (weaving) style, which can only be created in a single village in Bali.
The atmosphere also connects with the food served, from the grilled meat to the flexitarian dishes. Like FIRE’s unique concept, the restaurant offers a different kind of dine-in experience for breakfast, lunch and dinner to keep customers coming back for more. The must-see breakfast buffet offers everything from eggs, fresh sashimi, through to congee and freshly baked goods, while the casual grill restaurant has a menu of fire-cooked prime meats and fresh seafood.
FIRE is open every day from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. To reserve a table, email bf.wbali@whotels.com, or call +623613000106. For a pre-taste, check out their Instagram at @fireseminyak.
