An elevated dining experience at Westin Nusa Dua’s Ikan beachfront restaurant

T

he newly revamped Ikan open-air restaurant at the Westin Resort Nusa Bali welcomes guests for an elevated dining experience. Sporting a modern island look with locally inspired design, Ikan is ready to serve fresh seafood and aperitifs by the beach.

Mingle at the adjoining Ikan Bar’s sophisticated space or have a private dinner for two at five individual tables by the shore. Ikan also has air-conditioned private rooms that seat 20 people and a hexagonal semi-private area for groups.

Chef de Cuisine Fajar Kurniawan Putra will be whipping up highlights such as crab spring roll with salsa made from belimbing wuluh (tree sorrel) and Jimbaran-style grilled fish with sambals and sayur urap (shredded vegetables in grated coconut).

Meanwhile, head mixologist Marlon Hermanto creates pairings such as Gunung Agung, a concoction that pays homage to the island’s legendary volcano made of Nusa Cana Rum, Falernum and roselle soda, as well as artisanal spirits, authentic Bali arak and more.

Ikan is open from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. while Ikan Bar starts from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, visit westinnusaduabali.com and ikanrestaurant.com or @WestinBali and @Ikan.Bali. on social media.
