Scholars of Sustenance Indonesia helps Bali communities with Million Meals March charity

S

cholars of Sustenance Indonesia (SOS) returns with its Millions Meals March (MMM) charity event on March 5. This charity event will have participants partake in a marathon, in which there are two route options to choose from (15 km or 5 km) through the scenic beauty of Tabanan in an effort to fundraise for the provision of nutritious food to vulnerable communities.

Starting at Puri Anyar, participants will run through villages, the jungle of Tabanan, the Yeh Ho river, cascading rice fields and finish their journey at Beraban Beach. Here they will be greeted with drinks, a BBQ feast, raffle prizes and fun music while enjoying an ocean view.

The MMM charity event hopes to bring attention to humanitarian and environmental issues present in communities around Bali, in an effort to help people in need from hunger risk and combat climate change.

This charity marathon is open to everyone, both in Bali and internationally. Aspiring participants can register online via SOS’s official website: https://www.scholarsofsustenance.org/mmm2023. All the funds raised will be used to distribute food to the vulnerable societies in Bali.
