Indomie brings taste of Japan with Yatai Ramen Indomie experience

C

ommemorating a newly launched series of flavors from Indofood's much loved instant noodle Indomie, the brand has brought a taste of Japan to Jakarta with the pop-up Yatai Ramen Indomie experience.

Held from March 1 to 5 at Chillax, Bloc M and Pantjoran PIK simultaneously, Yatai Ramen Indomie took the form of a traditional Japanese food stall known as a yatai, which sells a variety of food, including ramen.

Through the Yatai Ramen Indomie stalls, visitors got a taste of one of Indomie's new flavors, Tori Miso Ramen, served with ramen-style toppings including chicken slices, mushroom, seaweed and a soft-boiled egg. For the price of Rp. 6,000, the meal also came with a glass of green tea.

To complete the experience, visitors could also interact with the chefs, who shared their insights into how best to enjoy an authentic Japanese ramen experience.

According to Indomie brand manager Arie Pratiwi, Yatai Ramen Indomie aimed to bring a new experience for foodies, allowing them to enjoy an affordable bowl of ramen complete with the accompanying drink.

“The yatai is a Japanese street food stall, so we want people to get an authentically Japanese vibe and drum up excitement for our new flavors,” she said.

For those wishing to create their own take on Japanese ramen using Indomie, the Indomie Premium Collection Ramen Series is now available at the Indomie Official Store on e-commerce platforms, as well as in retail stores across Indonesia. The series comprises three flavors, including Tori Miso Ramen, Shoyu Ramen and Takoyaki.
