Xiaomi launches new items as it expands AIoT ecosystem in Indonesia

Xiaomi officially announced the launch of the Redmi Note 12 Series champion smartphone line in Indonesia on Thursday (30/03/2023). The new items will include Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, following the global launch a week before.

iaomi officially announced the launch of the Redmi Note 12 Series champion smartphone line in Indonesia on Thursday (30/03/2023). The new items will include Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, following the global launch a week before. The launch has been anticipated by users for some time and is aimed to further the brand’s commitment to bringing innovative solutions to Indonesia.

“As a smartphone series whose presence has always been eagerly awaited, we are very enthusiastic about presenting the Redmi Note 12 Series with various extraordinary improvements to the camera, performance and other excellent features. The Redmi Note 12 Series is a manifestation of our commitment to presenting flagship smartphone features that can be accessed by more people," said country director Xiaomi Indonesia, Wentao Zhao.

The Redmi Note 12 Series is integrated with superior features in the flagship class, devices with high durability and support for AIoT connectivity so that consumers can provide a more comfortable and smoother experience, displaying the best visual and the ability to sound like no other smartphone with the support of Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. The device is in line with the brand’s aim to let Indonesians experience the utilization of a flagship smartphone in the mid-range class.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, known as the most superior of the three, is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC with a 6nm fabrication, along with the flagship Sony IMX 766 class camera sensor behind the 50MP main camera for taking photos and videos in various lighting conditions. The presence of the first Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) in the Redmi Note series makes the ability of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G even more capable in producing sharper, clearer images and minimal noise.

As for the hardware, the device carries a high-quality P-OLED screen with 6.67-inch FHD + resolution which has a 120Hz refresh rate for anti-lagging visual comfort. The device is practically made to meet the needs of content creators, with the unbeatable ability to bring entertainment and telecommunication functions all wrapped into one.

Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G comes with an 8GB RAM variant (expandable up to 13GB) + 256GB ROM and a choice of Midnight Black and Sky Blue colors. It is also equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and 67W fast charging technology.

The second item is the most affordable of the bunch: the Redmi Note 12. It features the Snapdragon 685 runway with a 6nm fabrication. The device also has three cameras with artificial intelligence (AI) support: (50MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro.

Its 120Hz AMOLED screen that is present on the Redmi Note 12 makes this smartphone a reliable device for enjoying popular streaming content as well as from various social media platforms. Available in Mint Green, Ice Blue and Onyx Gray, it has a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging technology.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 12 Pro carries a trendy classic deco design, as well as a Snapdragon 732G runway with an 8nm fabrication. The Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision sound quality, coupled with a 108MP Pro Grade main camera, the device has the ability to improve the sound quality and visual appearance on the screen.

To further complement the state-of-the-art audio system, Xiaomi Indonesia is also offering Redmi Buds 4 and Redmi Buds 4 Pro. Redmi Buds 4 is a product that features active noise canceling (ANC) at an affordable price on the market, while Redmi Buds 4 Pro is targeted at music lovers who are more interested in quality digital music.

Xiamo is also introducing their new Redmi Watch 3, a smartwatch that has a 1.75” AMOLED cross-section screen with a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels and supports always-on display mode. The product is expected to make users more aware of their health, with the 24-hour SpO2 and heart rate measurements and 121 fitness modes for sports activities. The device has a battery life of 12 days in standard usage mode.

Moreover, Xiaomi Indonesia is releasing the Xiaomi Curved Gaming Monitor 30” and the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E10. While the latter is the latest innovation of household technology with a suction power of 4000pa with a sweep and mop mode, the gaming monitor might be the latest must-have for Xiaomi users. The new innovation carries a 2580x1080 WFHD resolution and a high refresh rate of 200Hz with AMD FreeSync support for games that require high refresh rates such as FPS, and the 99 percent sRGB accuracy rate on this monitor makes visuals more realistic and is also suitable for video editing use.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro itself will be presented later following the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12, which will be present first on the Indonesian market. All variants of the Redmi Note 12 series have a 15-month warranty. Xiaomi Indonesia has 450+ after-sales service points consisting of authorized service centers, multi-brand service centers and collection points spread throughout Indonesia.
