side from replenishing restless souls with panoramic landscapes and a wealth of modern amenities, The Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa seeks to bring even more than Balinese beauty. It hopes to bring the joy of communing with mother nature.
Marking its tenth year of releasing more than 2,600 baby turtles into the wild from the shores of Nusa Dua, the hotel reminds us once again that the Balinese seaside dreams we indulge in are closely tied to marine creatures that are alarmingly endangered today.
A couple days after Earth Day, general manager Pierrick Gautier invited guests and Ngurah Ardita, general manager of the The Nusa Dua, to witness a heartfelt journey of 95 baby turtles making the journey to their aquatic homes.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience for many, this act of ecological stewardship is one of the many reflections of the hotel’s determination to protect sea turtles and the environment in general.
Through initiatives like this one, the hotel encourages others to join in supporting and protecting endangered marine creatures by reconnecting with nature and ensuring the continuing health of our oceans.
