s part of its Employee Reward 2023 program, PNM flew 64 of its best employees to South Korea on a fully funded trip. Adhering to good corporate governance (GCG), rewarding employees is one of the responsibilities of a company in order to develop its workforce’s capacity. PNM is fully committed to this principle, and through Employee Reward 2023 it aims to provide a memorable reward for its best employees with free trips to various destinations.

Last May, PNM successfully organized trips for over 300 employees to Bangkok, Bali, Malaysia and Singapore. It is also worth noting that for many of the employees, this reward was their first experience traveling abroad, and for some of them, it was their first-time ever boarding a plane.

Rani, an employee at PNM’s Padang branch, shared her experience of receiving the reward of the trip to South Korea. Despite being pregnant, Rani was very enthusiastic about going to South Korea, saying “I was very grateful and excited when I found out that I was going to South Korea, it feels like a dream. My return schedule from South Korea happens to coincide with my estimated due date, so thank you PNM!”

Sunar Basuki, director of operations at PNM, emphasized a few points in his speech during the awards event for the program. “This trip is not just about a free vacation or sightseeing; it’s a chance for our colleagues to gain new experiences and observe what is out there in the world. There are numerous differences, various cultures and things we can learn from outside Indonesia,” he said.

"Furthermore, this is merely a simple gesture that hopefully holds meaning for all of our colleagues, this serves as a token of our appreciation for their loyalty and hard work contributing to the company," Sunar concluded.

Departing on June 13, it is hoped the PNM group visit to South Korea will inspire other PNM employees who have not yet had the opportunity to participate. Through this program PNM aims to materialize its belief in obtaining tangible outcomes through hard work and dedication.
