eptember is fast approaching, and with it comes the traditional festivity known to all as the Mid-Autumn Festival, or the Moon Festival. This year, it will fall on Sept. 29. To celebrate the occasion, Grand Hyatt Jakarta is offering exciting mooncakes in elegant packaging.
The festival symbolizes the night of the full moon that signals a time of completeness and abundance, and the moon cake is the most essential part of the celebration. Grand Hyatt Jakarta is adding a twist to the age-old tradition, by offering four delectable flavors to choose from. These include the white lotus with single egg yolk; white lotus; red lotus; and red bean.
Every order arrives in a striking orange hard box, embossed with Grand Hyatt Jakarta’s logo on top that adds a luxurious factor to be given as gifts to friends and family. Opening the box, customers will also find inner mooncake boxes in a unique combination of gold, orange and cream hues, adding a classic, yet minimalistic look. In accordance with the Chinese zodiac, eye-catching renditions of rabbit are also offered to represent the Year of the Rabbit.
A box of four assorted mooncakes is priced at Rp 938,000, and a box of two mooncakes at Rp 688,000. Guests may select their preferred mooncake flavors for an additional Rp 50,000 per box. The gift and the delicious cakes are guaranteed to make the joyous occasion even more jubilant.
Starting from Aug. 1 August to Sept. 30, Grand Hyatt Jakarta’s Mid-Autumn baked mooncakes are on display at Grand Café and La Moda at Plaza Indonesia level 1.
