s Indonesia marks its 78th Independence Day this year, IM3 has launched the “Rayakan Kemerdekaanmu dengan Freedom Internet" (“Celebrate Your Independence with Freedom Internet") campaign to inspire the younger generation to preserve the unique traditions of the Indonesian people.
This spirit is in line with the principle of IM3's flagship product, Freedom Internet, which provides its customers with the freedom to connect with each other anywhere and anytime without worry. The campaign opened with the launch of the music video for “Rayakan Kembali Kemerdekaanmu’' (“Celebrate Your Independence Again”), IM3's first collaboration with musicians, Indonesian women from various generations such as Vina Panduwinata, Nadin Amizah, Feby Putri and Idgitaf, all singing Chrisye's legendary song "Negeriku" (“My Country”), which takes pride in Indonesia and its diversity.
The music video, which can be viewed on the IM3 YouTube channel, displays the excitement of various Independence Day traditions and ethnic and cultural diversity while paying homage to veterans so that the younger generation can continue to remember and appreciate their services in fighting for Indonesia’s independence.
Nadin Amizah said that for her, the Independence Day celebration is always synonymous with various traditions that unite Indonesians.
“This is one of the aspects I want to present by performing the song 'Negeriku' with other musician friends. We hope that by witnessing our performance at this year's Indonesian independence celebration, we can help revive the spirit of nationalism and revive the tradition of celebrating independence for the Indonesian people."
Director and chief commercial officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Ritesh Kumar Singh, said that Indonesia's 78 years of independence have been marked by useful technological advances, including in telecommunications.

IM3’s campaign invites the younger generation to appreciate the traditions that represent independence and strengthen the diversity of society through various Independence Day competitions, such as panjat pinang (climbing areca nut tree), a sack race, a bicycle decoration competition, tug of war and other competitions through the “Pesta Rakyat IM3” (“IM3 People's Party”) event, which will be held in more than 10 cities in Indonesia including Medan, Bandar Lampung, Bekasi, Serang, Cirebon, Surakarta, Madiun, Sidoarjo, Samarinda, Pontianak and others from Aug. 19 to 20.
In addition, IM3 will also hold a People's Party with musicians including girl group JKT 48 to celebrate the spirit of independence with special Independence Day competitions, which can be watched live on the company’s YouTube channel as well as the @indosatIM3 TikTok account.
