ducation is essential for society and lays the groundwork for individuals to succeed in achieving their goals. However, there are a number of factors that restrict education in terms of time and place, which emphasizes the importance of the quality of education.
In an effort to improve its quality of education, Pancasila University has collaborated with the Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDikti) Region III. The collaboration, marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement (PKS) on Aug. 28, aims to synergize in the public relations sector and the Higher Education Roadshow project, which will be worked on jointly between the two institutions.
The Higher Education Roadshow is a collaborative project initiated by LLDikti Region III, working together with students, the media and Pancasila University in providing education, especially regarding the issue of sexual violence among adolescents. The project aims to increase the Main Performance Indicators of Higher Education and LLDikti, as well as supporting the transformation of higher education in Indonesia.
In his remarks, Chancellor of Pancasila University Prof. Dr. Edie Toet Hendratno, SH., M.Sc., FCBArb said that in the long run, “this collaboration will create a more inclusive, safe and quality education for future generations, and respect the rights of Indonesian citizens, especially at Pancasila University, LLDikti Region III and other universities in Jakarta to obtain a proper education."
Edie Toet added that to create a proper educational environment, “Pancasila University also encourages lecturers to improve their academic positions, maintain eminent accreditation and inspire students to participate in numerous education ministry programs."
The head of LLDikti Region III, Prof. Toni Toharudin, S.Si, MSc, noted that the signing of the collaboration was a good initiative, highlighting the importance of cooperation in quickly resolving problems that arise, with creativity and innovation.
"In the future there are many things that can be collaborated on, not only limited to increasing the level of academic positions of lecturers, but also allowing lecturers to learn from each other across universities. Lecturers who have certain expertise can provide guidance to other lecturers from different universities. Therefore, it will be necessary to create an expert database," he added.
Toni added that wider collaboration would help form a “campus without walls”, where education is no longer limited to space and time, in line with the theme of new student admissions at Pancasila University of “Superior Accreditation, Pancasila University Realizing Students with Pancasila Characters in The Age of Digital Technology’."
