Finally! The 13th PNM Madani Village has officially opened

T

he 13th PNM Madani Village was officially inaugurated by the PNM Medan branch in Kwala Besar village, Sicanggang district, Langkat regency, North Sumatra on Aug. 23.

The inauguration was attended by Sujarno, expert staff of the Langkat regent; Persadanta Sembiring, Secanggang head; and Mhd Amiruddin, Kwala Besar village head. They were warmly welcomed by Ocfa Indah Nasution, deputy branch leader of PNM Medan.

"Becoming the area selected for the Madani Village is certainly a source of pride for PNM Medan branch," said Ocfa.

In summary, PNM works on empowering customers through financing and support. Financing and support are two sides of the same coin that cannot be separated from each other.

PNM continues to mobilize business owners or active customers with Madani Village as their platform. The pilot project of Madani Village in Medan has finally been realized, thanks to 403 customers with a financing portfolio of Rp 1.145 billion. Various activities to promote productivity and business development have been carried out, including webinars, distribution of 50 nutrition packages, free health check-ups for 50 customers, and the inauguration of Smart Rooms, which have been opened in more than 154 locations across Indonesia.

"This is actually the beginning of a program for the development of independent and sustainable ultra-micro business groups," added Ocfa.

Continuing to contribute to Indonesia, as of last July, there were already 14.7 million active customers who trusted PNM with Mekaar and ULaMM, resulting in a disbursement of Rp 34 trillion in financing through 4,490 service offices throughout Indonesia.
