umeirah Bali is honored to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a roster of events and partnerships meant to engage local communities, educate individuals, and raise integral funds for breast cancer research and support services.
One of the five-star relaxation sanctuary’s premier events for this month is Walk in Pink, a 5-kilometer fun walk that takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Oct. 22.
Tickets to the event cost Rp 150,000 net per person, with 10 percent of the proceeds to be donated to Love Pink Indonesia, an NGO focusing on breast cancer early detection, awareness and support.
There is also Pink Sunday Brunch, a silent auction that takes place after the 5K on Oct. 22, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the resort’s in-house restaurant, Segaran Dining Terrace.
Entry is priced at Rp 950,000 per participant, with all proceeds from the auction to be donated to the Indonesian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Guests will also get a chance to listen to the inspiring story of the mother-daughter duo, Love Pink Indonesia founder Samantha Barbara and actress and activist Chelsea Islan, during the brunch and auction.
