PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) has officially established a cooperative agreement with PT Bina Karya (Persero) through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by both parties on Nov. 9, 2023, at the IIF office.

The MoU is to support the development and expansion of the new capital city, Nusantara.
Reynaldi Hermansjah as president director of IIF, accompanied by chief investment officer M. Ramadhan Harahap, attended the signing ceremony. From Bina Karya, president director Boyke Prasetyanto attended accompanied by Finance and Risk director Trisnadi Yulrisman.
The Nusantara Capital City (IKN) Authority, through Bina Karya, will grant access to IIF to provide financing for infrastructure projects in the new capital and also allow IIF to become the preferred consultant for Bina Karya, in providing support of advisory services.
Boyke welcomed the MoU, saying the cooperation agreement would result in tangible actions in the development and expansion of Nusantara. "Under the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, this agreement is officially referred to using the term MoU to demonstrate our seriousness in building and developing IKN," said Boyke.
The development and expansion of the IKN include projects related to development in the Core Government Center Area (KIPP), both through the government-business entity cooperation (KPBU) concept, or direct financing; activities by the implementing business entities (BUPs) under the KPBU scheme; infrastructure development and funding for other developments in IKN.
IIF is confident that it can contribute to realizing the smart city and green city concepts upheld by the IKN Authority. "Part of our uniqueness compared with other financing companies is that IIF has a deep understanding and experience in implementing environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles," said IIF president director Reynaldi.
Reynaldi also assured that in this agreement, IIF would ensure that the realization of a smart and green city in the new capital would comply with ESG principles based on international standards. "Among the many offers of collaboration received by the IKN Authority, IIF is considered the most suitable and meets the requirements," added Boyke.
IIF management present at this event included president director Reynaldi, Investment director M. Ramadhan Harahap, Advisory Directorate head Irman Boyle; head of Legal and corporate secretary Nastantio Hadi, VP of Investment Febrina Kalangie, VP of Transaction Legal Sri Patriawati and Investment officers Nur Amalia Gustyara and Adli Thirafi Soeratin.
