T

o spread the spirit of Idul Adha 1445 H, Pertamina Group contributed to the festivities by distributing around 4,493 qurban (sacrificial livestock) across the country, comprising 2,027 cattle, 2,465 goats and one buffalo.

Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President Corporate Communication at Pertamina, remarked that genuine, good energy brought happiness to all.

The distribution of livestock so families and communities could celebrate this year’s Idul Adha (Day of Sacrifice) was also a way for Pertamina to show its gratitude and appreciation for the support it had received from the Indonesian public, Fadjar continued, which had helped the company improve and maintain its performance on an upward trajectory.

"We distributed qurban to communities around Pertamina's operational areas throughout Indonesia by collaborating with social institutions, religious institutions, foundations, takmir [mosque management and maintenance organizations] and others," he said.

Fadjar also credited the Pertamina Group subholding companies and subsidiaries for contributing the thousands of livestock for Idul Adha 2024. These included its upstream, refining and petrochemicals, commercial and trading, power and new renewable energy, gas and integrated marine logistics subholding units, as well as subsidiaries Pelita Air Service, Pertamina Training & Consulting, Pertamina Bina Medika IHC, Patra Jasa, Tugu Insurance and Pertamina Pedeve Indonesia.

"Pertamina Group has a high commitment to helping improve community welfare in line with SDG [Sustainable Development Goal] 3, which is improving welfare to ensure that citizens of all ages enjoy healthy lives," he said.

In realizing this goal, that Pertamina would continue to implement its various corporate social environmental responsibility (CSER) programs, Fadjar emphasized.
