T Pertamina and InJourney gave their full support for Indonesia's success by hosting the world's first Meet & Greet and Road to Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia Parade.

The event, which was attended by Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team riders Fabio Di Giannantonio and Marco Bezzecchi, began with a parade from The Meru, Sanur, then to Pertamina gas station 54.803.31 on Sunset Road, and finally ending at Mari Beach Club in Canggu, Bali on July 13.

Pertamina president director and CEO Nicke Widyawati stated that the Road to Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia – MotoGP™ 2024, attended by MotoGP™ stars, was a historic moment.

"The success of today's Meet & Greet and Road to Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia Parade is a form of our commitment to organizing the 2024 Indonesian GP," Nicke said.

Nicke added that the event not only strengthened Pertamina's commitment to developing motorsports in Indonesia, but it also served as a platform to inspire the younger generation to pursue achievements in racing.

A similar parade will also be held in Mataram, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, to build on the event’s success as part of preparations to welcome the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia - MotoGP™ 2024, which has entered its third season.

"The Road to Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia - MotoGP™ 2024 is a historic moment and a testament to the international community's trust in Indonesia's ability to host sports tourism events, especially in Mandalika. Therefore, we thank the stakeholders for their cooperation in making the event organization even better and more successful in the future," InJourney president director Dony Oskaria stated.

Meanwhile, MotoGP 2024 - Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia (IndonesiaGP) chairman Troy Warokka expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Pertamina and all stakeholders who supported the success of the Meet & Greet and Parade Road to Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia.

"This event marks a historic moment for fans and the racing community in Indonesia, and it signifies a strong initial step toward hosting a prestigious Indonesian GP," he said.

The Meet & Greet and Road to Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2024 Parade provided a rare opportunity for fans to interact directly with their idols. The event is expected to have a significant positive impact in supporting the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, which will be held from Sept. 27 to 29, 2024, at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in the Mandalika resort area of Central Lombok.
