T Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) continues its commitment to empowering underprivileged women, particularly those with physical disabilities. Through the PNM Mekaar program, Sumarsih from Purwokerto has received business equipment assistance as a form of appreciation for her dedication and enthusiasm in supporting her family's livelihood.

Recently, PNM president director Arief Mulyadi personally presented the business equipment to Sumarsih. He expressed pride and appreciation for Sumarsih's perseverance in running a traditional cake business despite her limitations.

PNM corporate secretary L. Dodot Patria Ary confirmed the company's commitment to optimizing the business efforts of its clients. With financial, intellectual and social capital, PNM Mekaar clients are expected to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and achieve sustainable business growth, regardless of physical limitations.

"PNM will continue to support clients like Ibu Sumarsih to ensure they can thrive and make a positive impact on society. This is what sets PNM apart from cooperatives because we provide training and business mentoring," said Dodot.

Sumarsih expressed her gratitude to PNM for the support and assistance provided. "I am very thankful to PNM, especially to Bapak Arief, for this aid. The support from PNM means a lot to me, and I hope my business can continue to grow and benefit others," Sumarsih said, with emotion.

This assistance is expected to further enhance her motivation to run her business and serve as an inspiration for other PNM Mekaar clients to persist and develop their potential.

PNM Mekaar is an ultra-micro financing program, specifically designed for underprivileged women without collateral who wish to start or expand micro-businesses. To date, PNM has empowered 15.2 million women across Indonesia, helping them achieve economic independence and improve their families' quality of life.
