P

T Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) continues to enhance its special training workshops for clients enrolled in the PNM Mekaar program.

Through its Business Capacity Development program, selected high-achieving group leaders receive training tailored to their business sectors, including the pottery and ceramics industry.

L. Dodot Patria Ary, corporate secretary at PNM, expressed the company's commitment to continuously expanding business networks and enriching its clients' knowledge. Designed as a comparative study, he said the program not only benefited participants but also served as a platform for other clients to become business mentors.

"Clients whose businesses have grown significantly need to be facilitated so they can teach specific skills to others. Learning from their peers is easier to absorb and replicate, because the [clients] have been through similar experiences," Dodot said.

Training for developing a pottery business has been one of PNM's focuses in Yogyakarta, where Kasongan village is a major pottery producer and encourages active community engagement in pottery production and sales.

Dodot expressed his hope that participants in the capacity development program would gain additional business knowledge, such as expanding production to high-quality souvenirs that meet the standards for displaying such products at various trade exhibitions.

"We encourage our clients to learn from each other and share their experiences. Once this habit is established, these women entrepreneurs can advance their businesses together," he said.
