irst established in 1976 as part of the prestigious hotel, Sari Pacific Jakarta, Autograph Collection, the Sari Delicatessen and Cafe was an iconic cornerstone in Jakarta’s culinary scene.

Now the cafe returns with its grand reopening event, “Kembali ke Sari Delicatessen and Cafe”, which was held on Aug. 29.

Hoping to rekindle the glamor of the 1970s, the extensively renovated cafe has now moved to a prime location next to the hotel entrance.

”This is a new beginning for a brighter future. Sari Delicatessen & Cafe was once known as the diva of the market, and we are poised to make a grand impact once again,” general manager of Sari Pacific Jakarta, Autograph Collection, Vincent Yap stated.

Renowned for its exquisite range of breads, deli items and classic cakes, which includes the iconic Black Forest cake, the reinvigorated cafe now offers its unique culinary experience in an elegant glasshouse environment designed for comfortable dine-in sessions.

Aside from the classics, the revitalized cafe also offers an updated menu that harmoniously combines traditional favorites with new and innovative dishes inspired by both Indonesian and international cuisines.

”We’re serving comfort food from around the world. Many of our guests come from abroad, so we want them to feel at home with our dishes,” culinary director, Andre Aryono explained.

The diverse menu offers enticing dishes such as salmon laksa, clam tagliatelle and burnt Basque cheesecake, to name a few.
