"Educating students on RE technology is expected to accelerate the energy transition while also instilling environmental awareness so that they can actively contribute to reducing carbon emissions," said Fadjar.
As part of the SEB program, Pertamina was present at the Adiwiyata School SMAN 14 Palembang on Aug. 22. Pertamina provided education and presented the Technology Innovation Module to 24 students selected through the SEB program to become Pertamina Young Energy Ambassadors.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel communications, relations and CSR area manager Tjahyo Nikho Indrawan explained that this presentation aimed to provide knowledge on how renewable energy could be developed into technology innovations that had broader benefits and could be implemented in their school.
"The hope is that the students at SMAN 14 Palembang can implement the programs and best practices they design into daily lives," said Nikho.
On the same occasion, one of the students from SMAN 14 Palembang, Rasya Eka Putra, expressed that the program provided various benefits, enhanced knowledge and developed skills that would be useful in the future.
"This program is very beneficial for us. We hope that in the future, our school can continue to collaborate with Pertamina and provide new innovations regarding renewable energy," Rasya said.
Moreover, Pertamina strongly supports the involvement of schools and the younger generation in environmental sustainability by providing education on the use of renewable energy to encourage the younger generation so that they can have a significant impact on the environment for a greener future.
Furthermore, Nikho explained that the implementation of renewable energy through Pertamina's Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) program under SEB aimed to support the prestige of Adiwiyata School at SMAN 14 Palembang, as well as to install and assist in the use of renewable energy.
