Invest Selangor Launches the Selangor Lab Partnership Programme

S

elangor Berhad announces the launch of the Selangor Lab Partnership Programme, a strategic initiative designed to empower business growth and strengthen stakeholder connections within Selangor’s vibrant life sciences sector.

The Selangor Lab Partnership Programme offers participating companies access to state-of-the-art research facilities and the expertise of established academic and research institutions in the state. By fostering strong connections with top universities and research institutions, this initiative provides tailored support services that address the specific business, research, and development needs of each company. Additionally, a financial assistance of up to RM5,000 per project in 2024 will help businesses alleviate some of their research costs, enabling them to focus more on their growth and development efforts.

YBhg. Dato’ Hasan Azhari bin Haji Idris, Chief Executive Officer of Invest Selangor Berhad, emphasized the programme's significance, stating, The Selangor Lab Partnership Programme marks a pivotal step in our mission to bolster Selangor’s status in the life sciences sector. By enhancing connectivity between industry players and our strategic partners, we are strengthening the dynamic environment where innovative ideas can thrive, leading to practical solutions that benefit both the industry and our communities.”

Invest Selangor is proud to collaborate with esteemed strategic partners, including Universiti Selangor (UNISEL), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM), Taylor’s University, Sunway University, Monash University Malaysia, and Xiamen University Malaysia. These institutions are committed to sharing their expertise and resources to drive sustainable growth and innovation in the state’s life sciences sector.
