The son of President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo and vice-presidential hopeful, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, said on Wednesday if his ticket with Defence Minister Prabowo Subianto is voted into office they would provide loans for digital start-ups and continue to develop the mineral processing industry and a green economy.

Gibran is the running mate of Defence Minister Prabowo Subianto in next year's presidential election. The pair are set to register as candidates at the election commission later on Wednesday.

Prabowo has been leading in opinion surveys against two other contenders Ganjar Pranowo and Anies Baswedan.

On Tuesday Ganjar told an event hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce that he would ensure legal certainty for foreign investors and boost tax collection in the trillion-dollar economy.

Anies Baswedan, the former governor of the capital Jakarta, promised to maintainIndonesia's policy credibility by giving major posts to technocrats and to bolster investment in the manufacturing industry if he wins the Feb. 14 election.

"Illegal fees must be eradicated, services must be made cheaper, faster. We must provide legal certainty by enforcing the law," said Ganjar, who narrowly trails front-runner Prabowo Subianto in surveys, adding that certainty issue ranks among investors key' concerns.

Ganjar has promised to boost the average growth of Southeast Asia's largest economy to 7 percent if he wins the next five-year presidential term. US-educated Anies targets 5.5 percent to 6.5 percent growth on average.

Indonesia's economy grew 5.3 percent last year, boosted by the commodity upcycle, but with commodity prices falling growth is expected to ease to around 5% this year.

Ganjar vowed to improve governance in the tax office to double the government's spending capacity, without giving details.

Anies offered plans to create at least 14 new economic growth centres outside of Java.
