Musician Deddy Dores, 65, the man behind the late Nike Ardilla's hit songs, passed away on Tuesday at 11:45 p.m.
JK Records' Twitter account was the first to break the news. According to kompas.com, a reporter received a text message saying "From Him we come from and to Him we return, slow-rock maestro Deddy Dores passed away at 11:45 p.m. at the Bintaro International Hospital. May all of his past mistakes be forgiven”.

According to rock band Godbless' Facebook account, Deddy's body is currently being held at a funeral home in Tangerang, Banten, prior to his funeral in Sumedang, West Java.
Deddy, who was born in Surabaya, East Java, on Nov. 28, 1950, started his career with the Rhapsodia band in 1971. His fame skyrocketed when he became the producer of late singer Nike Ardilla in 1990. (kes)
