A

social program during Ramadhan called #berSHOEkur is inviting everyone to donate their still-good-to-wear shoes to be auctioned for a good cause.

Those who don't have any shoes to donate can still take part in the cause by purchasing the donors' shoes on the program's official Instagram account @berSHOEkur.

All proceeds will go to cancer patients, especially children, under Yayasan Kanker Indonesia DKI Jakarta, Yayasan Onkologi Anak Indonesia, Yayasan Anyo Indonesia, Rumah Harapan, and Rumah Singgah CISC, according to the program’s press release.

Initiated by MRA Broadcast Media Division and singer Andien, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, an event on Sunday at Central Park shopping mall in West Jakarta will see proceeds from the auction officially handed over. People will still have a chance to take part in the auction during the event while enjoying performances from Andien, JFlow and Denada. (ken/kes)
