nspired by the viral song by Japanese singer and comedian Piko-Taro, the first and official Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen (PPAP) café has opened at the Tokyo Skytree Town in Tokyo, Japan, until Nov. 20.
Upon entering the bright-colored café, visitors can expect to find Piko-Taro’s face all over the place. According to the singer’s management website, the menu features various selections of food and beverages that contains PPAP elements, such as PPAPan (burger), PPAParfit, PPAPancake, PPAP fresh juice, for which they use a whole pineapple as the glass, and PPATea, with prices starting at 420 yen (US$4).

Patrons can also bring home souvenirs as the café plans to have a merchandise corner. Although it mainly serves take-out orders, the place still provides space for customers to enjoy their meals.
"Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen" made its YouTube debut in August. Piko-Taro achieved a Guinness World Record after the single became the shortest song to be included on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts. (kes)
